Christmas 2011 Part 4 of 4
****FYI this blog will look different very soon and will have a new domain name once Ian is born. The two will share one blog that will be a joint one and easier for me to manage all at once. I will be sure to email all of you with the new info as soon as he comes and I get things changed over.
Christmas 2011
Elena had quite a time at Christmas this year. She was very excited for presents, lights, decorations, Santa to come, all the parades we have locally and everything having to do with the day. She spent most days waiting for the "big day" by decorating and re decorating the tree. We spent a few weekends going to different parades in nearby towns and driving around looking at everyone's lights that were out. So enjoy the photos!

Tricks or Treats
Here are pictures from Elena's first ever tricks or treats outing. It was several kids, one boy and 3 girls total and all friends that knew each other. The older children took her and led the way up to each house and she "double fisted two buckets". She expected each person to give her candy in both buckets before she would leave the door. She had a great time and got to enjoy a good amount of candy when she got home.
Art, Dress up and Sunday School
Here is a heart Elena drew all on her own the other day..pretty impressive. Also here she is dressed up in her dress up clothes (a day full of singing and dancing it was). This last Sunday Elena attended the church daycare for the 2nd time with this time being Sunday school. She had a very good time and this is her work of art and the teachers that was given to her. This Sunday she learned about Jonah or as she says "doughnut" and the big fish also known by her as the" jelly fish". She came home talking ALL about doughnut and the jelly fish and after a lot of frustration on her part because we didn't understand Daddy put it all together for her and she was happy and we were amused.

Halloween 2011 - it is a comin
So this weekend we went out to the pumpkin patch to do some pumpkin shopping. We ended up with 150 lbs and that is even after mom and dad took 8.. or 10.. or maybe even more out of the wheelbarrow. I just kept grabbing and grabbing ALL the "babies" and loading them up. I would have liked to have brought them all home but here is the outcome..not too shabby. This year my costume is Spider Man and here I am trying it on for the "big night".

Great Aunt and some Doggy fun
As you all know I am an animal lover. While on my trip to meet my Great Aunt Paula I also met her very, very well behaved dog which became a new best friend. He was very patient with all of my petting and following and such. Here is some pics from all of us meeting.
*** By the way on this trip before we went to Oregon we went down South for a doctor appointment and we learned that I am having a HEALTHY BABY BROTHER!!**
-- He and I will share blog space once he is born
(which is most likely in January)--
