Playtime

I like to sit in my bumbo now. I have new toys I like to bat at and they make noise and light up at me when I do so. I like to listen to music of all types and laugh, smile and coo. I like to shove my toys into my face and mouth and chew on them. My favorite toy is my pink bunny head with blanket attached. See me play.

I got a new big girl bed

I got a crib! Its great I have plenty of room to move and stretch. I can really grow in this bed of mine. My old bed was way too small in length and I was outgrowing it by weight as well. I tried the bed out for the first time during the day. My reaction to my new bed was very positive. I squealed and stretched, laughed and rolled forth and back from side to side. I took all of my naps in there that day along with playing in there. That night I slept in my crib and in my own room (all for the first time) and did fairly well. Take a look at how well I did in my new bed.

First time at the zoo and a flower garden

Another day in the same weekend as the beach we went to the zoo near by our house and the flower garden right next to that. I slept the whole time at the zoo. My parents really thought I would be a ton of fun staring confused at all the animals and such but I was too tired. The flower garden went much the same dad took pictures of all of the pretty flowers while mom sat on the bench holding me asleep in my carrier. Take a look at some of the pictures from that trip.

My first time at the beach

All in one weekend I had a ton of "firsts". Me and my parents went to the beach for the first time together as a family, the zoo and a flower garden near the zoo. I looked around at the beach in amazement. I really enjoyed it and had a fun time seeing, smelling and hearing new things. Here are some pictures of that adventure.

New milestones

New things: I am now batting at toys, lifting my butt, lifting my head even more (kind of like doing a sit up), holding toys , and sitting in my bumbo. Lots of new things to see and do. I am growing so fast. I now weigh 13 1/2 lbs and am 25 inches tall. I am 3 months old. I wear 6 month old clothes as I am just so so long. I have feet like my mom's (big!!).

Home again- Home again - jiggity jig

This is my new home. It may not feel like "home" right away but it is the new place I rest my head and I play. I am glad to be here and out of my chair. Now I can see what this whole drive was all about. Now things will start to get back to normal again. Yeah!

Moving to Cali part 4

Its the last leg thankfully. I played some here and there but really am ready to be out of this seat of mine. The stops are about every 30 minutes where we get out and walk around. I cant wait to just be settled and feel at home again.

Moving to Cali part 3

Part 3 was sort of unplanned. We left a little earlier than we planned by a day to split up the last leg into 2 parts to make things easier on me. The stops got more and more frequent and we drove as long as we could until we got to a hotel where I slept with my mom and dad for the night while we got some much needed rest.

Moving to Cali part 2

Oh how nice it is to get out of the car and my car seat! I got to play with my family. I had more attention than any baby could ever ask for. I had a great time and it was a nice break from being in the car. I went out in my new stroller that my friends gave to me and went for a nice long walk. We took some family photos while we were there. I got to meet some new family members as well. Everyone seemed to be there - I already knew my Oma (we didn't get any pictures together this time unfortunately) and Opa but everyone else it was my first time meeting. Most of the visit I slept with my mom and dad in their bed. I got lots and lots of passing around and kisses and love.

Moving to Cali part 1 1/2

Here are some pictures of me and my Grandma and Great Great Aunt Pauline. We met at Denny's the first day and hung out over lunch.

Moving to Cali Part 1

We left early July 31st 2009. It was a Friday and it was a warm day in Arizona. I had gotten sick a bunch before leaving and almost everything had been packed. So as a warm day goes in Arizona it is okay to just be in a diaper. That is how I started my trip off. My mom and I sat in the back and played with toys and sang. It was kind of like the usual play time. I handled things pretty well and slept most of the first half when not playing. Half way through I got to visit some of my family for lunch. The end of the day was the toughest as it had been a very long day. I needed more and more stops. Once we arrived at the end of the first leg I was with more of my family and it was much cooler than I had ever been use to.
