We Be Bouncin'

At the Pumpkin Patch there was a bounce house to enjoy. The kids had a blast and spent lots of time and energy in there. They bounced until their little hearts were content.

 On the way home Elena had been BEGGING to go to the car wash

 she even offered her allowance to go through...of course we didnt
except her offer but we  went...look at that face! Excitement!

She loved every moment..cannot say the same for Ian though ; )

The Patch

This year being we have new digs we also have new patches to check out. Here the kids are having fun at Dale's Farm not too far of a drive out of town.

Stage

When you see Elena at home you would think the girl performing at home on her "stage" and this girl you see here were two TOTAL STRANGERS! Here is our beauty on the stage at school, they performed a few short songs and did great!

Open House

Elena had an open house at her new school. Here are both the kids dressed up and ready to go right before the performance.

Monkeying around

The plan was for Ian to be a monkey this year..however upon trying it on for size it is too small. So here is Ian playing nice in the costume,

   then just hamming it up.

 We decided monkey was out due to size, the elf we did last Christmas and might do one more year again so he had to be something else. What is that something else you ask? He will be Thor this year as requested by Uncle Andrew.

Field Trip

Elena's school went to the Avila Barn for pumpkin hunting. Ian got to enjoy in the fun as well. It was a busy day full of picture taking, animal feeding, hay rides, going through a corn maze and best of all picking out a couple of pumpkins. Elena as well as all the other members of her class got one small pumpkin and one medium sized one each..with her being very thoughtful she gave her mini to brother. That is one of those moments that make you feel so proud!
