Sister and Brother

The beginning of a beautiful bond. I am sure Elena will have no trouble showing Ian the ropes as he grows and looking out for him. They really are so opposite..but as they say opposites attract. They can really even each other out and help each other with their own strengths. Both of these children are very special to us and we are blessed to have them in our lives.

Ian at home

Ian has adjusted well to being at home and out of the warm, cozy womb. He is very mild tempered, and enjoys sleeping, and lots of frequent feeds. He likes to watch his sister when he is awake and alert. She has had some adjusting to do with him being here but seems to really be warming up to things now more often.

Ian coming home

Ian was welcomed home by mom, dad and big sister Elena. Elena is starting to enjoy holding his hand as well and holding him.

Welcome Brother Ian

At 1:34 am on 1/9/2012 Ian Frederick Bouwmeester was delivered into the world. Here is the last picture of mom pregnant with him. Ian weighed 7 lbs 8.7 oz , and measured 20 inches long.
