Here is Elena doing QUITE well on a hike. She really enjoyed herself and walked the majority of it on her own and of her own free will. She really liked seeing the falls and hearing all the wild life out and about.

Here is Elena with a new hairdo. She is just such a cutie and loves to ham it up for the camera.

Swim Class

Here is Elena in one of her swimsuits and at her class. She really enjoys play time with others during the class. She loves kicking her legs while floating on her tummy and trying to blow bubbles in the water. She has really started to relax and just have fun. Every day she is asking to go...so we will be attending more of these after this class is over.

Elena's 2nd Christmas

Man was this year SO much fun! Elena really enjoyed opening and playing with all her new presents. We practiced with her old toys and scraps of wrapping paper every day for a couple weeks ahead of time and so she was really ready for the "big day". She really made out like a bandit for sure.

Christmas Eve

Here are some pics of Elena's loot the night before. Of course she also got to open a pressie on Christmas Eve so here are a couple pictures from that as well. And yes these are ALL Elena's. We did not put any of ours under there so she could just run and tear and have fun.

Elena's "Big Girl Bed"

A couple weeks before Christmas we changed Elena's bed to a bed instead of a crib. The reason for doing this so early was due to some temporary weight lift limits...and it seems to be working out just fine. We are going to keep things this way now even after the limits were lifted as she enjoys it so much..she really gets joy from climbing in and out on her own and of course every kids favorite...JUMPING!!
