Changes in the house

Here's Elena enjoying the change. Now we are a "semi un-plugged" house. Elena loves drawing with chalk and crayons and finding her "inner-artist"..he he. We have been tossing the idea around for months...and so it happened recently..no more cable. We had many reasons for doing this and all seemed to be very beneficial to all in our family. We are starting a garden very soon and hopefully it is successful ...worst case we have fun trying and enjoyed lots of quality time together ( a win- win really). We have been enjoying caring for our yard all together (while the weather permits) and making our own games up and keeping busy with our own imaginations. Every day it seems you see more creativity unfold. Now that occasional movie will seem more special.

Easter 2011

Elena enjoyed her first year dying Easter eggs. Also she enjoyed her first egg hunt. Here are some pictures for all to see a glimpse of that day.
Oh yeah Elena also got to see the Easter Bunny and REALLY loved it..we will try to scan the photo and post soon.

Clowning around

Here are some pictures of Elena playing with a ladybug which she REALLY enjoyed and we find often in our yard. As we as some pics of her dressing herself. She sure is fun!

March dress modeling

Here is Elena playing around in a couple of her dresses. You wouldn't know what a "Tom Boy" she really is by seeing these pictures..but once she leaps and jumps off the bed you would know it really quick. Mom cringes as seams give a bit of a tearing noise here and there through the jumping and diving..but nothing to fix yet. He he

March - 22 months old now

Elena is now in her 2nd round of swim classes. She does really well and is much more relaxed.


Side note she REALLY enjoys playing in her Daddy's shoes!

Shirts and ponies

Here is Elena wearing her dads night shirt. She loves to wear his clothes and shoes around the house..also we can now get this little girls hair up in one full pony tail. She sure is growing fast!
