My First Pony Ride

Ever since seeing Sleeping Beauty ( thanks J - he he ) I OFTEN ask to ride a horse. My parents response is always the same thing " when you get bigger". Well within the last couple of weeks we almost went on a pony ride for 4th of July ( but they booked up too quick ) and then now I finally got to ride! Boy did I love it all smiles for all who watched. And now after riding I continue to ask on an even more frequent basis - ahhh the joys of parenthood- lol.

Here are a couple pics from road stops on the way out of our area and a couple of her at one of the aquariums we attended. There were two aquariums she got to enjoy one at the Monterey Bay and the other at the Ca. Academy of Science.

When Elena saw this tank she ran right over and dropped right onto her tummy to view up close and personal.

Just about every statue and tree on the vacation she wanted to stop and hug. ; )

May Family Vacation

This year for Elena's 2nd Birthday we went on a family trip. We went many places and saw many things. This trip included: Golden Gate Park , The San Francisco Zoo, The California Academy of Science also in SF , Monterey Bay Aquarium and a park called Dennis the Mennis Park. We also attended a farmers market in Monterey Bay and watched lots of sea lions and otters in the wild on our trip .

2nd Birthday ( the finish to the pics)

Her favorite 3 things: balloon bouquet, tool w/ truck ( she is very, very good with her power drill), and her phonic fridge magnet.
Favorite part of the day for her was probably her "Noe" as she calls him but his name is really Noah coming over for dinner, cake and enjoying playing with all the new things and helping open presents.
Candle blowing for the first time ever: went magnificent! There was no hesitation and one puff and it was out!
