And one more thing..

Over the weekend we decided to cut Elena's hair being it is always a fight, tangled, messy and almost dread locked some days. The first 3 shots of these photos were moms attempts and the front was good but not totally so in the back. Panic set in then I called a friend of mine and she came out and fixed it (those are the last  two shots posted). Thanks Mell! Elena seems like she is totally fine with it almost like nothing even happened..Dad and Mom are still a bit sad and shocked..its that first "big" haircut that really gets ya. Good thing hair grows and fast on little ones! We will enjoy having it shorter and easier but are looking forward to at least a bit more length again like it was originally intended.

Over the Weekend

It was Daddy's Birthday celebration this weekend. Over the weekend we did yard work, went to a Halloween party, went to the pumpkin patch and went to a local beach for a while.

9 month check up

Ian had his 9 month check up today. His height is 29 inches and weight is 21 lbs 15.5 oz...he is the average height and weight of an average 1 year old boy. Right before his appointment he started saying "up" ( because he wanted me to pick him up and he wasn't getting the response he wanted as he head butted my legs before hand )..and then was saying" ba-ba-ba" right around the time of having his bottle as well. Luckily the nurse heard the up being said as well later on so I didn't feel so questionable about if he was really saying it or not. So here are some pictures from today.
Today Ian discovered he really loves to hang out in the dishwasher.

"F" Field Trip

The letter of the week is "F". Today the class went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch and to the fire department. The patch was very kind and let all kids take a pumpkin home.
