So as a proud doting parent...(and I know it is just a mere coincidence)...but Elena went pee pee in the potty tonight. I was going to put a picture as proof but figured I would spare all. But I know a lot of parents know this happy, proud, excited feeling. Elena has her own pot and gets practice with it as she sits on it with and without clothes throughout the day ( sometimes w/us using the bathroom and other times on her own ). Again I know it was coincidence...but it is still a big deal and makes me proud and hopeful for what the future will hold on the " potty training experience". Fingers crossed! ; )
****Update: Elena went pee on the pot 2 nights in a row****
make that 3 times as of 10/3 I guess we don't need to keep counting now -
We are so, so proud of this little girl of ours!!
This is the story about the lives of Elena and Ian. Big sister and little brother. All family and friends come along for their journey. Watch them grow and progress all along the way.

I really enjoyed dancing and eating a lot of cake too!! You can catch some tid bits in the background of our new house.

A Few days until 16 months
I know, I know..it has been a while and I am starting to slack. But hey when the girl hardly ever naps any more and if she does it is very short you can only do so much. So here she is a few days before her 16 month mark. She has 11 teeth now, 4 of which are molars. She does a lot of sign language, a good amount of animal noises, color/ draw with crayons and pens on paper, just learned to jump and then say " wooow" and is really good at following direction. Elena enjoys all of her play dates and friends she sees frequently. We are outside every day and enjoying our time in the yard at the house or the nearby parks.

15 month Check up
I just got home from my 15 month check up. Here are some updates: weight 23 lbs 15 oz ( 67 %), height 33 inches (above 97 %). Currently I have 6 teeth showing and am working on two top molars and two bottom molars working there way out as well to add to the collection (you can feel them and all their grooves). I handled my appt as well as could be expected given I had to get a toe stick and 3 shots. The doctor says I am doing extremely well with my development and all the way around. Another good appointment. These pictures are from a couple days before todays appt.
